THE ROYAL TREK(3 NIGHTS 4 DAYS)

This is a short trekking in the nothern part of Pokhara. The trek
is called Royal Trek as the Princ Charles from Britain was done
this trek on 1982. The region is very nice area for short trekking
less croweded and have good chance to observe real Nepali culture
and living lifestyle. One can view spectacular mountain view and
real typical Nepali village. The itinerary of the trek is as follows.

| DAY
1 |
Pokhara-Kaunkhola-Kalikasthan |
Early in the morning after breakfast start the trip drive by car to
the Kaunkhola and start walking from this place. After crossing plain
rice fields forwhile, the way start climb up for about 2 hrs and reach
the place called Kannanidanda. From this place it takes more 2 hours
to be in Kalikasthan, place to stay overnight. After getting there
guide will manage local Tea House and take to you for village tour. |
| DAY 2 |
Kalikasthan-Syaklung |
Our trip starts around
9 a.m after breakfast. This day there is no any difficult climbing
up and down hill most of the way is through the top of the ridge.
So it an easy and nice walk. We reach Majasthan by 12 and have to
take lunch in this place, as there are no more places to have food.
This is a quite big village that offers you a good chance to see Nepali
life style. After lunch we have to walk about 2 more hours to reach
Syaklung where we spend our night. |
| DAY 3 |
Syaklung-Chisapani |
Same a everyday our trip starts after breakfast. The trails follows
through a forest and small village gradual up to lunch place called
Ramkot and descend about an hour to sakkarabhanjyang and then steep
climb up hill about 3 hours to the Chisapani hill top a beautiful
place. The Chisopani village is a small village of Gurung settlement.
The tea house for over night stay is located on the top of the hill
from where we can see the Begnas Lake and wonderful Mountain view.

| DAY 4 |
Chisapani-Pokhara |
We start
our trip after breakfast. The trails follows descend through village
about 30 minutes and steep downhill about 3 hours through the forest.
Then after easy walk through rice field about 2 hours you will get
to the car/ bus waiting for you to take you back to Pokhara. |

Note: The accomodation for this trek can be arranges in two ways.Staying
in tea house or tent. The teahouse is the local lodge where you
can get a cosy double bed room to spend over night. It is not a
facilitete one. Tent is also a good way as we can stay overnight
in the top of mountain and enjoy the views throughout all evening
and morning.
